Hello!! I would like to introduce myself to you!

First, I must tell you I do all the work on this sight myself & it is a bit of a job. I am trying to get new items on often but shows, crafting & home take alot of my time also, so PLEASE bear with me. I am adding new items now & then before I get busy with shows. Happy Spring!! Wow, Spring sure went by fast & we are on to fall shows!! Wow again!! Fall shows are over & it's on to filling orders & restocking for Spring! Every year goes by a bit faster...I am working on Spring stock now.

I am told in April Microsoft Office Live Small Business will no longer be available & I need to transfer my web sight. I think I will have that done professionally so not to loose any data. I will update as things happen & hope this transition goes smooth & will not interupt my communications with everyone....The new sight is up after 2 months of work between myself & a very nice guy named Matt a PTG. I think all turned out well. All contacts are the same...as you know if you have returned & reading this.

As you may have noticed I had a good year last year & have a lot of work to do here to replace all the sold items. Thanks to all my customers even more so to my return customers. I love talking with you all! This web sight stuff is great! I have talked to so many people even internationally. Which by the way, I have started some international shipping for those out there that might be wondering! I do ask for serious inquiries only please. Spring is here & I am still behind... & not doing my web sight duties! Sorry!! )-: I am back in my workshop working on alot of special orders! Now on to a bit about me...

I have gone by the name Sher III Feathers for about six years now. The name, was given to me at my request, by Chief Turtle. I was told this is the way names are given. One would go to the Chief of the tribe and give a reason why he or she should be named the name they have decided they would like. Then the Chief decides if that person is worthy of the name, and if so then grants the name. My reason behind my name was, with the items I make, I use many feathers, most times three or more per creation.

He agreed this would be a good name.

My items are almost always with a Southwest flare. I doubt you will see anything that is not but I won't swear on that! I am a self-taught artist. I have enjoyed doing arts and crafts as long as I can remember. I have been on the show circuit for about 18 years.

I do on an average, 16 shows a year, mostly around my home town of Cincinnati, Ohio. When my husband retires and my daughter takes flight (update, daughter took flight for now anyway! All you parents know what I mean by that!)I will most likely do shows that allow more travel than my current time of no more than four hours from home.

I will be showing a lot of gourds along with numerous other items. I am considered 'Mixed Media' at shows and the reason for this is I like to make a lot of different items, not just gourds, although I love working with them. You may notice that all or most items are of a Southwestern theme. I am very inspired by the many wonderful Native American artists out there. I do not, however, sell items I make as having been made by a Native American, as I have not researched my heritage back far enough to do so. That does not mean I do not hold Native American blood. I have to tell you this, my Grandmother told me one time (and I had to laugh!!) that she did not know if there was any Native American blood in our history, but that she did know members of our family were very fond of them!!! I think that tells you something! From time to time, I may sell some items that are Native American and are made by someone other than myself. I will state that next to the item. Items I make are not nessecarily traditional. I just make it my style with maybe some traditional flair in there.

I will be updating this sight hopefully every month if not sooner so please check back. As soon as an item sells I will mark it sold or take it off the sight. I have been known to fail at marking an item sold from time to time. I have my husband selling with me at shows & I don't always see what he sells & he does not know what items I have on the web sight...so if this should happen I am very sorry...hopefully it will be something I can make another one of. I may be able to make another one close to it or get another one like it so please go ahead and Email me with your request & questions.

I know many people like to know who they are dealing with other than just the computer, so here I am on the right with two of my girlfriends at the Piqua Heritage Festival. My husband & I have been doing this show for 9 years. We do a few shows a year like this one in the Pre 1870's where we use canvas tents & period correct clothing. Lot's of campfires, food, arts and crafts and fun!!

I am glad to announce that I have PayPal. You will be able to pay with an email invoice I send that will direct you to PayPal or we can do credit cards through my craft account over the phone, whichever way you are more comfortable with. Both ways are secure. PLEASE NOTE: you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE ALSO: During my off season of November threw April I will not have my craft show credit card service running so payment will need to be either with PayPal or USPS Money Order...Thank You.

If you have an interest in an item please email me so I can answer any questions and/or email you for payment. Please also note, I do shows where the items on this sight will be up for sale, meaning that during that time at a show the item may sell & no longer be avalible for purchase. This is why I cannot do a "shopping cart" or "buy it now". There is a chance the item may be sold at the show before I get it taken off the sight or marked SOLD. It may be possible for me to make another item very close to it. We will need to talk by phone or Email whether that will be a possibility or not.

USPS money orders will be accepted but know that it will delay the process. Items will only be shipped after money order is received. Checks are not preferred and will only be accepted by regular paying customers at my discretion.

I am pleased to say I have started international shipping for those out there that might be wondering. PayPal only.

I am charging a 1 dollar fee for packing materials on each shipment. This will help out but not cover the materials I purchase. If I need to purchase a special box I will need to charge extra for it. That should only happen for very large or odd shaped PKGs.

I have had a wonderful year of sales & have enjoyed all the emails along with all of you that I have spoken to on the phone with...I thank you! I have however encountered several things this year that I have decided I need to make some changes in how I run my small business as follows...

If you are truly interested in an item or several items but just don't have the funds for it at the moment. I am offering to hold these items from the date of your request for up to 30 days with a 10% deposit on the item/items. If at the end of the 30 days time & the amount due is not paid the item will go back in stock & no refund will be issued on the 10% paid. If the item/items are paid of course the 10% will be taken off the total amount owed.

The next issue would be special orders. I really love doing special orders for people & have had great success at everyone being very happy with their items. The unfortunate thing is some have changed their mind about me making their request for whatever reason after I have purchased materials to do so. So I would still love to make a special order for you but must request a 20% deposit on an order that will run 100$ or more.

I have been in the arts and craft show business for over 18 years full time. Please be assured I try my very best to have quality items that should bring much joy for many, many years to you as long as you do your part after purchase and take reasonable care. If you should not be happy with an item, please email me and a refund request can be made minus shipping. Please make your decision in a weeks time. Please keep all packing materials until you are sure you are satisfied. It will make it much easier for you, should you decide to return the item. Refunds will only be made once I receive the item back & in original condition.
I want you to be happy and I would very much like to have you as a returning customer so I will work with you within reason. If you do not want to order an item here and you are in the area please visit me at one of my shows!
My home is a smoke free home...It however is not a pet free home!! Two cats, two sugar gliders & a dog!
